Where’s My Roy Cohn, Trump Asks

Cohn with McCarthy

Cohn was a lawyer and friend of Trump’s when he was younger.

Cohn was a pure maggot, serving as Joe McCarthy’s chief counsel during the infamous Army-McCarthy hearings.

He was also a big pal of Roger Stone, another Trump apologist.

Stone says of Cohn, “He was interested in power and access.”

Stephen Miller, Trump’s bizarre excuse for a “senior policy adviser” is the new Roy Cohn, willing to say or do anything to make his boss look good.

“Scorched earth” doesn’t begin to describe Miller.

Roy Cohn was gay and conservative Republican and former US senator Alan Simpson has pointed out, “The so-called ‘Red Scare’ has been the main focus of most historians of that period of time. [1950s] A lesser-known element … and one that harmed far more people was the witch-hunt McCarthy and others conducted against homosexuals.”

Cohn’s own sexuality didn’t keep him from destroying the lives of other gays.

Vanity Fair

For Cohn and people like him, nothing will stand in the way of access to power and prestige.

David Marcus, Cohn’s cousin, thinks he was attracted to Trump saying, “Something about Roy’s self-hating-Jewish persona drew him to fair-haired boys.”

Trump has surrounded himself with people like Miller or should we say they are flies being drawn to a pile of dung, fair-haired or not?

  • Alan says:

I also find it telling that despite Trump’s common pattern of asking “Where’s __________?” as he searches to acknowledge people in a crowd; the two places that became “Where’s *my*” were the Jewish lawyer and the African American. “Where’s my African American [supporter]?” “Where’s my [Jewish lawyer]?” Like one discusses valuables they have collected.

Tapper dispensed with even the appearance of fairness in that interview. CNN is no longer a news outlet.
Everything Miller stated was factual. Tapper couldn’t take it. The fact is, CNN screwed up 3 major stories involving Trump. MSNBC is looking more and more ‘Fair and Balanced”!

  • joe schmo says:

Isn’t it obvious that Miller is closeted? From what I can tell he’s never dated a woman, never seen with one, and so full of hate for gays, minorities. Someone should help him come to terms with his sexuality so he doesn’t lead the sad life of Roy Cohn (whom he actually resembles) being left handed, balding etc. Anyway once he’s come to terms with his sexuality, all the anger will melt away and we will all be better off.

    • Eric Lamar says:

It’s not obvious to me. He is a hateful person operating with blind allegiance to a dangerous man. In that sense there is a nearly perfect parallel to McCarthy/Cohn and Trump/Miller.

  • Joe blow says:

Of course , McCarthy had another chief counsel, Robert G. Kennedy, before he turned his sites on corrupt unions.

CNN screwed up 3 major stories to smear Trump. Its about time someone took him to task for it.

As for the book, the NY Times reporter who covers Trump has stated it is full of inaccuracies. A Sunday talk show host should be able to handle an obstinate guest without resorting to personal attacks. He showed his true colors.

  • RHackett says:

CNN also acknowledged their mistakes and issued retractions. In many cases those responsible are fired.

Something that is never done by conservatives or conservative media.

Let me guess. You probably still believe Obama was born in Kenya and not eligible to be president.

Who am I kidding? Of course you do.

  • Dias says:

Roy Cohen died August 2, 1986. Stephen Miller was born August 23, 1986. Reincarnation is a distinct possibility
